Description:
As oposed to what is written in the info-pages,
C-x C-e uses $EDITOR not $FCEDIT to determine the editor.
I would also like to suggest using C-x C-f analogous to
the use in Emacs and ask for a file name. Then one could
edit a file right from bash.
