RE: [AUCTeX] New version of Emacs/AUCTeX bundle for Windows available

So far, I was downloading emacs from the ntemacs site, or gnu site.  However, 
these did not support image inclusion.  That is why I thought that I needed to 
wait for 21.4

I guess I will need to download the versions available from the auctex site.

The Emacs executable for 21.4 is the same as for 21.3: the difference
is just in the movemail executable which likely is not even present in
Windows.

What you can find on alpha.gnu.org from the download page of AUCTeX is
a snapshot of the current development of both Emacs and AUCTeX (though
the latest snapshot might indeed have AUCTeX 11.83 as released, but
that is not the rule).
